Jadot purchases a nice domain from Santenay

Louis Jadot, one of the great Burgundy producers, has just acquired the Domaine Prieur-Brunet, a vineyard of 18 hectares spread over prestigious appellations from Côte de Beaune: great addition to Jadot, already present in nearly 130 appellations of Burgundy. iDealwine's iDealwine indices recorded moderate but steady growth in the first half of the year, with their increasing performance of 5.25% at the end of June 2017. Analysis. The iDealwine indices measure the price fluctuations of a selection of top Bordeaux, Burgundy and Rhône wines at auction. 2017 first half: already more than 56,000 bottles auctioned on iDealwine

In a market still dominated by Bordeaux and Burgundy Grands Crus, iDealwine sold during this year’s first semester 56,020 bottles (i.e more than 23,000 lots) at auction. Sellers can rub their hands: over the entire period more than 90% of the bottles were sold.
