Loyal customers know and love iDealwine as an online-only player – our specialty is sourcing the finest wines from the finest cellars (both from private collections for our auctions and from our partner wineries) and shipping them worldwide to your doorstep. You could say, we love the internet! After all, iDealwine was founded in 2000 when a dial-up tone would ring around the house as you connected to the World Wide Web, about five years before most homes had Wi-Fi and seven years before the first iPhone was released. In 2024, we revamped our website and app. Although we love our digital presence, we also love meeting wine lovers all over the world. This autumn, we have events galore planned, from casual walkabout tastings to exclusive wine dinners in Michelin-starred restaurants. Wine geeks rejoice, there’s something that’s bound to quench your thirst!
1. Michelin Starred Wine Dinner in Milan with Château Cos d’Estournel
This is no ordinary wine dinner! Not only is it in the stunning surrounds of a Michelin-starred Milanese restaurant, with a tasting of five fine wines, matched with a tailor made five-course dinner, guests at this event will also be guided in their tasting by the European director of Château Cos d’Estournel and iDealwine’s Manager for Italy.

2. Paris: Meet the Winemaker Walkabout Tasting

For Paris-based wine lovers or those looking for an excuse to come to the French capital, our next walkabout tasting will take place in our favourite contemporary art gallery, La Galerie Guillaume in the 8th arrondissement. 3. Basel, Switzerland: Meet iDealwine at the Basel Wine Festival
We’re looking forward to exhibiting at Basel Wine Festival for the first time! From 26th to 28th October, find us at stand 2.1 A08 where we’ll be pouring six fine wines from Champagne, Burgundy, Bordeaux, Alsace, Rhone and the Loire, as well as a mystery blind tasting (prizes to be won!)

4. Paulée d’Alsace – Only two spots left!
You may have heard of the Paulée de Meursault or New York’s La Paulée, but have you heard of the Paulée d’Alsace? La Paulée is a French tradition mostly associated with Burgundy, specifically Meursault. A paulée is a grand banquet that celebrates the end of the grape harvest, though the current iterations in Meursault and New York are quite exclusive, and it’s generally considered an honour to attend. Despite the high-profile guests that go, it’s still a ‘BYOB’ event, probably the classiest of its kind! Now in its 5th year, the Paulée d’Alsace is the perfect opportunity for the lovers of this diverse wine region to unite under one roof and celebrate together.

5. Singapore: Meet iDealwine at the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter
iDealwine is no stranger to Decanter Fine Wine Encounters, with a stand in New York in June and London last November, though we first exhibited at the event in 2018. Next stop is Singapore, where we will pour six fine wines from Champagne, Burgundy (one white, one red), Bordeaux, Piedmont, and Alsace.
At this wine fair, with over 60 of the world’s most prestigious producers, you’ll meet Léo Duquennoy, iDealwine’s Singapore manager, and Caroline Jounault, our manager for Asia. Get in touch and let them know you’re coming!
