cristal champagne

iDealwine’s latest summer auction has opened for bids! It’s full of very rare bottles, some of the most iconic names in wine, top mature vintages, large format bottles and more…
And if we were to do some name dropping? You’re in the right place!

Iconic and Blue-Chip Bottles

Heart rates are expected to rise when bidding on the magnificent Burgundy and Bordeaux bottles in this auction – a 2004 Montrachet from the Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, 2005 La Tâche also from DRC. From 1999 comes Les Quatre Journaux from Maison Louis Latour and a year later in Bordeaux, a 2000 Petrus (also in 2008). There are various Château Ausone bottles and vintages, six bottles of 2005 Margaux or 2010 Haut-Brion 2010 to satisfy Bordeaux lovers too…

Are you ready to find these bottles a new home in your cellar?

From the Valley… Rhône and Loire

In the Rhône Valley, there is a nice surprise from Mr. Emmanuel Reynaud and the magnificent Château Rayas: our attention was drawn to the following particular vintages: 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008. We also have a 1999 Hermitage from Chave, surely on every wine lover’s bucketlist? Browsing our auction catalogue, our interest was certainly piqued by the Châteauneuf-du-Pape Hommage à Jacques Perrin from Domaine de Beaucastel, made by Jean-Pierre & François Perrin, stars of the Rhône. In the Loire, Richard Leroy will be one of the first to generate a flurry of bids, as will Clos Rougeard and the famous Domaine du Bel Air.

Mature vintages

Nothing ages better than a fine wine, but spirits come up trumps here: Bas Armagnac 1900 – yes over 120 years old! You’ll also spot a 1953 Château Lafite Rothschild and a 1947 Château-Pavie 1947. Wow! Don’t miss out!
