Our Story: A Pioneer in Online Wine Auctions

Launched in 2000, iDealwine was the first company to host online-only wine auctions. Over two decades later, we’ve become the world’s leading online auctioneer for fine and rare wines. Our bottles are carefully sourced from trusted private cellars and professional partners across France, and every lot is authenticated by our in-house experts, ensuring genuine provenance and peace of mind for buyers.

Alongside our weekly auctions, we also run fixed-price sales, so South Korean clients can discover exceptional bottles at attractive prices whether they prefer the thrill of bidding or the simplicity of buying outright.

Shipping Wine From France to South Korea

All iDealwine wines are stored in our professional storage facilities in France. From there, we offer South Korean clients two ways to bring their wine home: a UPS courier shipment, or a monthly direct shipment to Korea.

Direct Shipment (France → South Korea) : the Grouped Pallet Advantage

Our direct France–Korea shipment travels by grouped pallet on a direct flight, offering smoother customs clearance and a simple, efficient delivery process. It’s the option many of our Korean clients prefer for its reliability and convenience.

  • Next shipment cutoff: monthly schedule published on iDealwine’s website
  • Expected delivery: from 5 working days later
  • Required: your PCCC number must be included in your delivery instructions
  • Rates:
    • €60 for 6 bottles or 3 magnums
    • €100 for 12 bottles or 6 magnums

UPS Shipment option: when time is of the essence.

If your order ships via UPS, you’ll be contacted once your wines arrive in South Korea. UPS will then provide the details needed for customs clearance and arrange final delivery to your door.

  • Rates:
    • €70 for 6 bottles or 3 magnums
    • €100 for 12 bottles or 6 magnums

Additional Fees & Good to Know:

  • A handling fee of €1 per bottle applies to each shipment order.
  • A fixed fee of €10 applies to any shipment that includes Champagne — this is a single €10 charge per shipment, regardless of how many Champagne bottles it contains (12 bottles of Champagne in one shipment still costs just €10).
  • You can combine several orders into a single shipment to reduce costs by selecting “Postpone shipment / Combine” in your account.
  • Free storage is offered for 30 days after purchase. After that, storage costs €0.15 per bottle per day.
  • We will delay shipments at no extra cost during extreme weather (heat or cold) to protect your wine.
