At iDealwine, we’re continually expanding our network of partner domains, now working with over 700 estates! They’ve all become favourites of ours in their own way, and they are often victim of their own success. This month, we have new vintages from established names as well as replenished stocks of your favourites.
Favourite bottles back in stock!
The must-have domains to have in your cellar are many and greatly varied, and we’ve just replenished our stocks with all the names you know and love. If you’ve got something to celebrate, we have bottles of fizz from Taittinger, Laherte, and Pouillon, including Taittinger and Pol Roger in new vintages: 2014 for Taittinger and 2013 for Pol Roger.
From Alsace, it’s the inimitable signature of Domaine Hugel, with its unctuous and aromatic crus, that has especially pleased you. The biodynamically run Domaine Zusslin, unanimously praised by tasters, is also back with the new 2019 vintage.
The Loire’s wines continue to impress us. Domaines Saint-Nicolas, Chidaine, Claude Riffault, l’Ecu, Huet, Jousset, and Porte Saint-Jean have all been highly appreciated, so we’ve sought out some of their best bottles for you. Domaine Saint-Nicolas, served at some of the finest restaurants, is now available in its beautiful 2018 vintage. Domaine Porte Saint-Jean, a big name in natural wine, can be tasted in its 2019 vintage…and we recommend it!
From the Rhone Valley, you’ve been delighted by the produce of Domaine Gallety whose crus are of exemplary quality and balance. And you’re in luck, since this domain’s cuvées can now be enjoyed in their 2016, 2017, and 2018 vintages. Domaine de la Janasse, Ogier, Rostaing, and Ferme Saint-Martin have also made a comeback…get in there quick, as these ones have a tendency to fly off the shelves!
Let’s head to the sunny south, where there are plenty of our partner domains to be discovered. From Bordeaux, our favourites include Château Reignac, Château Siran, Le Puy, and Haut-Carles. Each of these estates crafts crus as beautiful as the others, to be enjoyed with your finest meat and vegetable dishes. From Provence, Château Revelette and Domaine Milan merit all the praise they receive, and Corsica’s star Jean-Baptiste Arena is undoubtedly one of the finest ambassadors for the Patrimonio appellation. The island of Sicily is home to the incredible domain Cornelissen, whose natural wines express the essence of their terroir with charming personality.
New partner domains
Why not discover the newest crus in our selection…they might become your new favourites! We’re delighted to announce the arrival of two domains into our network. From Bordeaux, we’re welcoming Château Marjosse, owned by Pierre Lurton of Château Cheval Blanc and Yqeum, which is located in the Entre-deux-Mers region. Its chalky terroir is much like that of Saint-Emilion, producing surprising wines with fruity and well-structured profiles. And from the Loire Valley, we’re pleased to introduce Domaine Sérol, a biodynamically-cultivated family property to the east of the Massif Central. Its crus are known for their generosity and beautiful flavour.
Since this is just a brief overview of what’s in the cellar, you should come and explore the whole thing for yourself!
