Following the runaway success of recent French-language virtual events, iDealwine is launching it’s first English language virtual wine tasting available to all customers in the European Union. What better way to begin than with a true champion of terroir, his region, and his wines – Sylvain Pataille.
Sylvain Pataille has brought well-deserved attention to this lesser-known appellation of the Côte de Nuits and awakened many to its fine wine potential. It’s not often that winemakers are referred to by wine critics as “world-class” and “exceptional” in the same sentence as “modest” and “under-rated”!

Log on and join the tasting with guest of honour Mr. Sylvain Pataille, who will guide the tasting and take guests on a (virtual) journey through the vines of the Marsannay terroir, the northernmost appellation of the Côte de Nuits.
By purchasing this tasting kit, you will gain access to the virtual event, hosted by iDealwine via Zoom. It will include an introduction to the property and its wines, you will hear all about the past and present of the winery, the winemaking approach and philosophy of Sylvain Pataille, enologist and owner of the eponymous vineyard. We will then move on to the best part, the tasting. The event will last approximately 1 hour, and will be followed by a Q&A.
