3 bottles of Château Haut-Brion 1989: This lot groups three bottles from the most legendary vintage ever produced by this Pessac-Léognan property. It was awarded a score of 100 by the world’s three most influential critics: The Wine Spectator, Robert Parker and James Suckling.

Echezeaux 2008 Domaine Bizot: The name of this plot in the Côte de Nuits will excite the most enthusiastic wine lovers. Located between Vosne-Romanée and Clos de Vougeot, this exceptional climat is run by Jean-Yves Bizot and produces a wine whose power does not outweigh its purity.

Chambertin Clos de Bèze 1996 Armand Rousseau: Le Clos de Bèze is one of the nine grand crus in Gevrey-Chambertin. 25 years have passed since Domaine Armand Rousseau bottled this stellar wine that is now ready for you to open.

Musigny 2008 Domaine Georges Roumier: Le Musigny is a plot of 10.77 hectares, which produces the best Burgundy wine according to some wine enthusiasts. Complex, concentrated, delicate and deep all at the same time, this wine from Domaine Georges Roumier is surely in the top 10 of the world’s greatest wines.

Gems not to be missed

Rioja Reserva Vina Tondonia 2010 R. Lopez De Heredia: Heading to Spain and more specifically, Rioja, this cuvée has been aged for six years with half of it being placed in barrels for this period. The wine is immensely concentrated and complex and can be enjoyed now or in another 10 years.

Tokaji Aszu 5 Puttonyos 2003 Domaine Disznoko: A dash of sweetness with this fine Tokaji whose richness and acidity are perfectly balanced. An extraordinary complexity can be found in this fine Hungarian wine that will certainly please those who like sweet wines.

Saint-Bris Vieilles Vignes 2012 Clotilde Davenne: A superb Sauvignon which is mature, pure and radiant.

Bourgueuil Galichets 2011 Domaine de la Chevalerie: €16 for a Cabernet Franc that was made by a big name over ten years ago? It’s probably one of the best price to enjoyment ratios that we currently have online. Note, however, that stocks are limited.

Mondot 2012 from Château Troplong-Mondot: This second vin from the Grand Cru Classé B is phenomenal; it’s full-bodied and deep with an excellent finish. A brilliant second that can be opened now, but it can also be left to rest in your cellar for another seven years.

Givry 1er Cru Clos de la Servoisine 2011 Domaine Joblot: A great Pinot Noir, full of flavour, at this age, it contains jammy black fruits, sweet spices and old wood aromas.
