This is the sale you’ve been waiting for…and it’s here! We’ve put together a selection of the finest mature vintages from your favourite regions. And these ones are available at fixed price!
Let’s start in Bordeaux with a magnificent lot of 12 bottles from Château Latour, here available in the exceptional 1990 vintage. Fans of the iconic Château Haut-Brion won’t be disappointed with the 12-bottle lot of 1999 reds, and there’s the same quantity in white from the 1992 vintage. As well as these beauties, we’ve got an imperial from the property in the 1993 vintage…a treasure you won’t want to miss out on! Other gems from the beautiful vineyards of Bordeaux are Petrus (1989, 1993, 1996, 2004), Montrose (1990, 2003), Mouton-Rothschild (1986, 1989, 1991, 1992, 1998, 2004, 2009) and Lynch Bages (1998, 2000, 2006).
From Burgundy, we’ve got a sumptuous 1992 Vosne Romanée premier cru les Beaux-monts from Domaine Leroy. There are also some especially rare bottles from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, including La Tâche (2004, 2006, 2009) and Romanée Saint-Vivant (2003, 2004, 2006). Pinot fans will be right at home. We have an incredible selection dating all the way back to 1973 that includes single bottles such as the 1999 Cros Parantoux from Domaine Emmanuel Rouget and the 1989 Romanée Saint-Vivant from Jean-Jacques Confuron. Or how about a 1997 Meursault premier cru La Goutte d’Or from Domaine Arnaud Ente.
A little further south we have the Rhône valley, a particularly well-represented viticultural region this time round, and some of these cuvées can only be found at iDealwine! Take for example a number of Châteauneuf-du-Pape cuvées from Château Rayas available in vintages from 1988-2010. From the same appellation, you’ll find two magnums from Paula and Laurence Féraud (2000 and 2007). For those of you with a penchant for Syrah, we’ve got Côtes-Rôties from Domaine Jamet (2007, 2010) and Domaine Guigal (2004, 2005, 2006, 2010).
And if you’ve planned a celebration, our Champagne selection is made up of formats as exceptional as their vintages. Let yourself be tempted by a Methuselah of 1999 Deutz or a Salmanazar Carte d’Or brut from Maison Drappier. A magnum of the 2000 extra brut from Billecart-Salmon and another of Krug’s 2003 vintage round the list off nicely.
