Private Collection: The Exceptional Domain de la Romanée-Conti Cellar

Domain de la Romanée-Conti collection up for auction

An unbelievable auction catalogue is currently on iDealwine. A private collection built by a Domain de la Romanée-Conti lover, consisting of 126 bottles, all acquired directly from the estate, will end on 18 June. A rare collection!

A passionate collector of Domaine de la Romanée-Conti  wines is putting part of their cellar up for sale with 126 bottles from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti.

Straight from the estate and ideal storage conditions

The bottles were all acquired directly from the estate and had never left the storage cellar (with its ideal conditions) in Burgundy where they remained until being put up for auction. Now in the care of iDealwine, these bottles were kept in their original wood boxes and protective straw layer throughout their life and are in perfect condition.

126 bottles from 2005 to 2022

The collection includes wines from 2005 to 2022 and notably features seven bottles of La Romanée-Conti grand cru, complemented by other prestigious wines from the estate.

The collection in a few key figures:

  • 7 Romanée-Conti (2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2020, 2022)
  • 4 Corton (2015, 2016, 2020, 2022)
  • 2 Montrachet (2014, 2017)
  • 3 Corton-Charlemagne (2020 and two 2022)
  • 22 La Tâche
  • 25 Echézeaux
  • 21 Grand Echézeaux
  • 27 Romanée Saint Vivant
  • 15 Richbourg

The seller, a great lover of wines from this estate which they consider “totally unique in the world of great Burgundy wines”, cannot drink all the bottles they have and therefore has decided to part with some of them to give them a second life with enthusiasts who will be able to enjoy them.
