Bordeaux mourns the loss of the gentleman of Margaux

In the middle of Easter weekend, it is with great sadness that we learned of the passing of Paul Pontallier, the oenlogist, director and spirit of Château Margaux. Nearly 600 buyers from over 30 countries in Europe, Asia and America have set their sights on the second auction of the month on iDealwine, closed on the 14th October 2015 Mature wines have been particularly demanded.   In Bordeaux Petrus again lead the way with the 1988 to €1,480 an increase by 28% from its previous estimate.
