Our latest re-stock of older wines has arrived: as always, we have exceptional bottles from your favourite wine regions! Of course, we have Bordeaux and Burgundy in their drinking windows, but this time, we can hear the Rhone calling…
The Bordeaux region opens the ball with a parade of haute-couture vintages signed Château Margaux 1985, 1988, 1990, 2002, 2004 and more vintages in their drinking window! Château Beychevelle is also present with old collector’s vintages, such as 1982 and 1990, and for lovers of large formats, a magnum of Château Latour 1989 will is sure to be snapped up! The right bank is not to be outdone with two exceptional bottles of Petrus from the 2006 and 2007 vintages, followed by a bottle of Château Angélus from 1995.
Beautiful bottles can also be found in Burgundy! Starting with the white nectars from Bonneau du Martray, the very famous Corton-Charlemagne vintages from 1985 to 2009, followed closely by the famous Coche Dury in various guises. On the reds, an entire anthology of rare vintages is to be found: Georges Roumier is represented here by a Morey Daint Denis 1er Cru Clos de la Bussière 2012, Armand Rousseau follows him with a bottle of Chambertin Grand Cru up for grabs in 2009 and 2015 vintages. Finally, the unmissable Domaine de La Romanée-Conti closes our nice Burgundy selection with a Romanée-Saint-Vivant Grand Cru from 2009 or 1991.
Head for the Rhône nuggets with a first stop at Jean-Louis Chave, where we find a 2008 Hermitage and a 2009 Saint Joseph. You might also be tempted by top cuvées by Guigal: La Turque, La Mouline or La Landonne in 2006, which will make a nice horizontal (but hurry – stock is very limited!) To wrap up, we can’t not mention the magnificent lots of Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Château Rayas created by the great Emmanuel Reynaud. The best part is the number of vintages available – 2005, 2006, 2007, 2009, and 2010!
