With two lockdowns already under our belt, iDealwine is ready to rise to the ‘confinement’ challenge once again, this time with the unexpected addition of a curfew. We would like to take this opportunity to let you know that we will continue to source rare and mature wines and deliver to wine lovers all over the world. As we have done throughout this pandemic, iDealwine is committed to provide the same excellent service to clients, while adhering to the new regulations and continuing to follow local health guidelines.

The good news is, there is no curfew on iDealwine.com – you can browse, bid, and purchase on our site 24/7, 365 days a year, confident in the knowledge that our auctions and retail section are operating ‘business as usual’.

Contactless Click and Collect

For clients based in the Paris region, our contactless ‘click and collect’ service is once again in place. Simply choose this option instead of delivery when purchasing your wine, fill out your attestation, and let us know you’re on the way. Rest assured, this service is also up and running for those selling their wine with us, so you can drop off your wine and spirits too before our expert team appraises and authenticates them. All social distancing guidelines and sanitary measures will be adhered to, so you can pick up or drop off your bottles in full confidence.

With most of our team working from home, iDealwine aims to provide the same world-class service as before the pandemic. Having said that, we may experience some delays in delivery and preparation of your orders. We really appreciate your cooperation and understanding and would like to thank you in advance your patience.

Boosting Morale

We have to admit, facing a third lockdown was tough. Unlike last spring and autumn, there is definitely a sense of ‘here we go again’. Whether you are in lockdown or full freedom, dear reader, we want you to know that we miss you! Even though we are a 100% online business, iDealwine has always enjoyed meeting wine lovers all over the world. Many of our clients have become friends, and we’ve always looked forward to meeting new friends at wine fairs, trade shows, professional tastings, and masterclasses around the world.

To bridge the gap that has widened over this past year, iDealwine is investing heavily in strengthening digital supports. We are planning more virtual tastings than ever and are bringing interviews with winemakers live through Instagram. We will continue to shower you with stories, recipes, and tips on our blog – we hope to will find them to be both entertaining and informative!
