Iconic bottles and special catalogues

Hard to find wines and vintage Champagne

It’s difficult to describe just how extraordinary this auction is. With 12,565 bottles, it is the largest auction ever held on the iDealwine website and is a true Pandora’s Box full of gems and legendary wines. We hope this article helps you to find the bottles that interest you the most.

Legends from Bordeaux, Burgundy and beyond

  • La Tâche 1999 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – an iconic bottle from one of the best vintages seen in the Côte de Nuits, ready to drink now.
  • Romanée-Conti 2002 from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti – quite simply, the most sought-after climat in the world.
  • Meursault Les Narvaux 2008 from Domaine d’Auvenay – the perfect example of an immense Meursault, created by the legendary Lalou Bize-Leroy.
  • Bonnes-Mares 2003 from Domaine d’Auvenay – Chambolle-Musigny’s second-placed grand cru; it’s probably the most delicate and deepest wine from Burgundy.
  • Six bottles of Château Mouton Rothschild from the 1982 vintage – one of the three greatest Pauillac châteaux from the legendary 1982 vintage.
  • Grange des Pères 1992 – the first vintage produced by Laurent Vaillé, the Aniane genius. It’s a bottle that has become so rare, we hardly ever see one in our auctions.
  • Dom Pérignon Plénitude 3 from 1983 – a rare Champagne that has spent the last three decades ageing in Dom Pérignon’s cellars.
