You’ll get a chance to try a mature 2007 vintage, the classic 2014, and the star 2016, and all of this from the comfort of your own home. The masterclass will be presented by the iDealwine team and Guilllaume Pouthier, growing manager at the château. A Pessac-Léognan jewel
Château Carmes Haut-Brion is unquestionably one of the finest signatures of Pessac-Léognan, with a style of it own. The varietal proportions, vinification techniques, and the magnificent winery designed by Philippe Starck all contribute to making these wines unique. So we can’t wait to introduce you to them, alongside Guillaume Pouthier who is the château’s growing manager. On the 19th February, we’ll be immersing you in the story and produce of a dynamic estate that belonged to the Carmelites from 1584 to 1789.
How will it work?
This vertical online tasting will take place online, via Zoom. Once you have signed up, you’ll receive a kit containing three 50ml bottles of the domain’s fine wine, les Carmes Haut-Brion, in the 2007, 2014, and 2016 vintages. This gives you a chance to taste a mature, classic, and star wine from the estate.
The tasting will last around an hour, during which time you’ll get to know Château Les Carmes Haut-Brion, its wines, its cutting-edge winery, and its ambitions going forward. This will be a moment of conviviality and sharing, with time to ask Guillaume Pouthier any questions you might have about the château.
How do you sign up?
To join this virtual event, simply do the following:
– Add this at-home tasting kit to basket. To ensure timely delivery, the last day to order is February 8th.
– When completing your order, be sure to choose “click and collect” in our Colombes location. This will ensure you don’t pay delivery fees.
– Once your order is paid, you will receive a confirmation email of your purchase. Details of the virtual tasting, including how to join, how to serve your wine, how to submit questions in advance will be emailed in advance of February 19th.
