With spring in the air, we’ve had a flurry of new arrivals. Head off the beaten path with bottles that you’re yet to try…

Recently, Elsa (our marketing manager) and Jean-Baptiste (Domain project manager), spent a few days in the Jura visiting some of our partner domains and discovering some new gems. You’ll now find in our selection some magnificent wines from Bénédicte et Stéphane Tissot (vins jaunes, Arbois, Chardonnay, Savagnin) as well as the biodynamic cuvées of Philippe Chatillon (Côtes-du-Jura La Grande Chaude, Arbois Le Sage and Les Nouvelles), and bottles from the talented Domaines Labet, Ganevat and Macle.

Also on their travels are Raphaël (Sales manager) and Constance (Content writer), who took a trip to the vineyards of the northern Rhône, bringing back souvenirs from Maison Guigal (Condrieu La Doriane as well as the famous LA-LA-LA trio and the Hermitage Ex-Voto) and Stéphane Ogier (Condrieu, Côte-Rôtie, IGP Collines Rhodaniennes).

In another vein, without losing any of the prestige, Burgundy is represented by signatures like Bouchard and the Chablis domain Pattes Loup, the Mâcon-Villages wines from Domaine Valette, and bottles from Jean-Louis Trapet (Gevrey-Chambertin, Latricières-Chambertin, and Marsannay). Andrée Trapet, the wife of Jean-Louis, also runs a property in Alsace, and we have some beautiful wine from there including the Chapelle 1441, the Pinot Gris Sonnenglanz, and the Riesling Schlossberg. From the same region, you’ll find Vignoble du Rêveur with its orange wine, and legendary crus from Marcel Deiss.

After something fresh and natural? Montlouis-sur-Loire is home to Lise and Bertrand Jousset (Bubulle, Rose à Lies and Vilain Petit Chenin), and the Beaujolais brings us the unique Yvon Métras and his wonderful Ultime cuvée. From the same region we have the Raisin Gaulois cuvée from Lapierre, a perfect aperitif wine, as well as cuvées from Domaine Saint-Cyr, one of our new partners. If you’re looking to explore other appellations, you’ve come to the right place. From Savoie, we have wines rom Giachino as well as the IGP Vin des Allobroges from Domaine des Ardoisières, and from Auvergne (Côte Roannaise), Domaines des Pothiers and Sérol.

Dreaming of getting away to the south? The essence of Provence is waiting for you in the form of Domaine de Trévallon. As is the Languedoc, where you’ll love the wines of Terrasses d’Elise, the Faugères cuvées by Léon Barral, and the IGP Côtes Catalanes from Roc des Anges. From a little further afield, we have the flavourful Sicilian cuvées of Arianna Occhipinti, Riesling Kabinett (dry) and Spätlese (sweet) from the German Dönnhoff domain, as well as the Argentinian Terrazas de los Andes.
