Here’s a look back at the other weekend as if you were part of the jolly iDealwine team with photos and all!
Throughout the weekend of 7-8 March, the iDealwine team descended on Burgundy to put the finishing touches to the organisation of the Hospices de Nuits wine auction and host the event. Between the marathon, Saturday’s rehearsal of the auction, a tour of the vineyards in a vintage car, a tasting at the Hospices de Nuits estate and at Domaine Trapet, and an iDealwine soirée with, of course, the auction on Sunday, this weekend was full of adventures. Here’s all our photos to show what we got up to!
A lunch together to launch the festivities
After an early departure from Paris, the team me at the restaurant Auberge du Coteau for lunch and to start off the weekend’s activities!

The marathon for the most motivated members of the team
Just after lunch, a small team of athletes donned their running shoes and ran the Nuits-Saint-Georges semi-marathon. A special shout out to Alexandre and Lucas who finished it in 1:36, and also to Grégoire who ran his first semi-marathon in just 2:07!

Set up and rehearsal
A part of the team was more serious and went to Clos Vougeot to make the final checks and to rehearse the auction, with everyone testing at their role for the following day.

Tasting at the Domaine des Hospices de Nuits
Another part of the team went to the winery of the Hospices de Nuits estate to re-taste the wines, this time with VIP customers.

A tour of the vineyards in vintage cars
The happy VIP clients then had the chance to go with Angélique, Laura, Caroline, and Laure for a tour of the vineyards in vintage cars. Laure, our local guide (who is actually iDealwine’s marketing project manager), told them everything there was to know about Burgundy’s vineyards and their history, with a special focus on certain emblematic plots.

Tasting with the iDealwine team at Domaine Trapet
At the end of the day, the iDealwine team met at Domaine Trapet for a superb tasting, including mature wines and great vintages like 1990.

An iDealwine soirée
Like last year, iDealwine organised a private soirée gathering certain VIP customers and partner winemakers and it worked just like a Paulée with everyone bringing a bottle of wine. A superb evening was had by all with a great atmosphere and the passion for wine flowing through it!

The big day!
The auction started at 3pm and was crowned a great success with €1.5M raised, an increase of 91.7%!
