New releases | Excellence at your fingertips

Every month, our buying team works hard to find new estates and present new vintages, so that you always have things to discover! To date, we’ve got no less than 137,000 bottles available on the site. To give you an idea, here are some of the latest additions.

This month, six wine estates have caught our attention. The Rhône Valley is spoiling us with two beautiful domains: Roger Sabon (founded in 1952!) with its multitude of great Châteauneuf-du-Pape wines and the Serre Besson estate (AOC Côtes-du-Rhône and Vinobres). Bruno Ciofi’s Loire trade, Béret et Compagnie, is now available in the form of Chenin blanc and natural sparkling wines. From Burgundy, we now have the wines of Domaine du Couvent, located in Gevrey-Chambertin. The Champagne region graces us with the presence of its grands crus via the cuvées of Mouzon-Leroux; 8 hectares cultivated organically and biodynamically by the winemaker Sébastien Mouzon, who vinifies with precision in the Montagne de Reims. Finally, in Argentina, a major partner has joined us: the Bodega Chacra. Established in 2004 by Piero Incisa della Rocchetta, grandson of the founder of Sassicaia, the estate covers 24 hectares in Patagonia.

A new vintage is a magical thing, because it is a new interpretation of a wine that we’ve already met. In other words, it’s something that you’ve never tasted before! Is it the new 2020 vintage from Domaine Belargus – a new reference in Anjou Noir – that will tempt you? Or the great Barolos, Barbarescos, Barbera and Nebbiolo d’Alba from Bruno Giacosa? Perhaps an even more distant land, such as New Zealand, will convince you, with the great Pinot Noirs of Bell Hill vineyards

Finally, some cuvées are so successful with our wine lovers that they run out of stock! Fortunately, our team is always on the lookout for what needs to be refilled. One of the greatest Pessac-Leognan wines, Château Smith Haut Lafitte, is available in more than a decade of vintages! Château La Violette, a landmark in Pomerol, is also within reach of the cellar, including the 2011 in double-magnum format. In the Rhône Valley, some our top references abound with new wines: Clos des Papes, Yann Chave (2020 and 2021 vintages), Vignobles Brunier (Telegram & pied long 2020), and Domaine du Coulet from the brilliant Matthieu Barret are a few top picks.

From the Loire, the great Château de Villeneuve, which has become a must-try Saumur producer, delivers its expressions in the latest young vintage 2021. Not far from there, in Montlouis, the winemaker Jacky Blot, who needs no introduction, was able to keep a few wines from his 2020 and 2021 vintages for us. His other estate, located in Bourgueil, delivers juicy interpretations of the 2019 and 2020 vintages.
