We’re adding a feather to our beret this year with the launch of a new site that will allow Bordeaux enthusiasts to make their Primeur purchases through iDealwine. It’s up and running now, with new Bordeaux releases added every day!
A new development
Whilst auctions have always been our main specialism, we’ve also been selling fixed price wines for around a decade, serving as an online wine merchant for enthusiasts all over the world. Throughout this time, we’ve sought to build and reinforce our links with Bordeaux’s prestigious estates, the natural conclusion of this being the addition of Primeur wine to our offer. Cyrille Jomand, CEO of iDealwine, explains ‘We’ve had allocations for various prestigious properties since 2015, so wanted to launch a parallel Primeurs service to respond to recurring demand from clients. Collectors like this way of buying Bordeaux grands crus, as it ensures they’ll have the latest vintage on release’.

Purchase beautiful Bordeaux en primeur
The selection available on the new site will feature between 150 and 200 wines, and most of these will don a grand cru label. There will be a number of different formats available, from classic bottles to generous imperials, and as is customary en primeur, the wines will be sold in cases of 6 or 12 bottles.
Some of the first to feature include Château Duhart Milon, Château de Carles, Château Les Charmes Godard, Château de Rayne Vigneau, Carruades de Lafite, Canon Pécresse, Clos Puy Arnaud and Haut Carles.
