iDealwine is growing! To celebrate our development abroad, next month, we will be travelling all over the world to meet wine lovers and spread the message. We tell you more about the exciting events on the horizon.
Decanter Fine Wine Encounter, London
The 2nd and 3rd November, we will have the pleasure of returning to London for an event that we thoroughly enjoyed last year: the Decanter Fine Wine Encounter. A resounding success last year, this year the biggest challenge will most likely be crossing the English Channel on ‘Brexit weekend’… Once we’re firmly on British soil, we’ll be treating enophiles’ taste buds to our top-drawer selection of wines.
Last year’s ‘stairway to heaven’… and the lineup for 2019 isn’t looking too bad either 😉
Merano Wine Festival, Italy
We’ll be setting foot in the bel paese for the first time next month, for the Merano Wine Festival in Italy (9th-11th November). This wine fair – one of the most important dates in any Italian wine lover’s calendar – is held in the town of Merano, nestled in a valley surrounded by the Alps in the northern Trentino-Alto-Adige region. The festival welcomes over 10,000 visitors for three days of tasting and wine-and-food-related events: we can’t wait!
Hong Kong Wine Fair, Hong Kong
At the same time, on the other side of the world, our Asia team will be pleasing the palates of Hong Kong-based wine enthusiasts at the unmissable Hong Kong Wine Fair. This is one of the events we most look forward to every year; we look forward to seeing familiar faces and meeting new enthusiasts, and of course surprising visitors with our mystery wines: we hope you’re ready to have your taste buds tested!

Wine Advocate’s Matter of Taste, New York
Wine lovers, rejoice. In late November, the team will be jetting off to New York for the latest edition of Matter of Taste, a series of illustrious events organized by Robert Parket’s Wine Advocate. Previous events been held in Napa, Taipei and Zurich: in February, we had the pleasure of exhibiting at matter of Taste Zurich and were delighted to be invited back for the New York instalment. Exclusively allowing wines awarded over 93 points by the Wine Advocate, and with over 250 wines up for tasting – including the iDealwine selection 😉 – this day of tasting promises to be special.
It will also be the perfect opportunity to meet with our American clients and other wine professionals in the US.
