Spirit lovers and collectors will find their next greatest treasures in this autumnal spirit auction. The latest Fine Spirits Auction showcases 825 remarkable bottles from French brandies made from sugar cane, liquor and grape must to rums and whiskies from around the world.
Discover the magnificent collection of rhums agricoles (agricultural rums) by La Favorite with bottles from the end of the 1980s to the start of the 2000s. These delights are accompanied by famous brands such as Trois Rivières, Bally, Clément and Neisson.
International rums are also well represented, and a stand-out lot is the remarkable UF30E 1985 from the Demerara collection (bottled by Velier). You’ll also have the chance to bid on a Destino, bottled for the 70th anniversary of the Italian house, the result of a collaboration between Richard Seale (Foursquare) and Luca Gargano.
When it comes to whiskies, the Hanyu Card Series is back in the catalogues with a Height of Hearts and other Japanese legends such as Karuizawa Noh and Yamazaki Elephant also make an appearance. Scotland shows off its whiskies that were aged in Sherry barrels including the magnificent Macallan Gran Reserva, a 1960 Strathisla, and a Glendronach Single Cask.
You’ll also find iconic bottles from prestigious French houses such as L’Or de Martell, Hennessy Paradis and Rémy Martin Louis XIII. Some brandies even pre-date phylloxera like an exception Cognac from 1858!
