New auction, new opportunities to bid on great wines! And there are so many of them in this sale, most notably from Burgundy. Whether in the private catalogue or in the rest of the auction, the choice is impressive!

A private catalogue full of fine wines from Burgundy and the Rhône

A private catalogue has slipped into this auction, offering an exclusive and high-profile selection of fine wines from Burgundy and the Rhône, featuring some of the most well-known domains in the world.

Those who only have eyes for Lalou Bize-Leroy will be well-served by the lots which come from her eponymous domain, like for example a Romanée-Saint-Vivant, bottles of Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Les Beaux-Monts, a Pommard Les Vignots and many other wines from this iconic estate.

There are also lots from the legendary Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, such as the Grands-Échezeaux and Échezeaux.

Other very fine Burgundian wines are featured in this private catalogue: Meursaults from Coche-Dury, the rare Bonnes-Mares from Georges Roumier, and a Richebourg from Méo-Camuzet. If you love fine white wines from Burgundy, do not miss out on the Montrachets from Comtes Lafon, in perfectly ready-to-drink vintages, or on the Chevalier-Montrachet from the Leflaive domain.

On the Rhône side, you will find for example several Hermitages from Jean-Louis Chave, but also some Châteauneuf-du-Pape cuvées from Emmanuel Reynaud in ready-to-drink vintages.

Burgundy, Burgundy and more Burgundy

Outside of the private catalogue, the selection of Burgundy wines is also exceptional, with many lots from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, starting with the domain’s greatest wine, La Romanée-Conti, in the 1987 and sublime 2010 vintages, alongside La Tâche, Richebourg, Grand-Échézeaux, Échézeaux, Corton, Romanée-Saint-Vivant and even Marc de Bourgogne. Enough to keep the domain’s afficionados satisfied!

As for the Leroy domain, you’ll want to keep an eye on the rare 2003 Bonnes-Mares, and some fine white wines from her Domaine d’Auvenay, including Meursaults and Auxey-Duresses.

Another of the region’s top properties? Domaine Bizot is also in there, with its Échézeaux, as well as some bottles of Vosne-Romanée Les Jachées. Excellent opportunities to sample the legendary finesse of Jean-Yves Bizot’s deliciously natural and organic wines.

It is also worth noting the inclusion of lots from Domaine Arnoux-Lachaux which are very much in vogue, including Nuits-Saint-Georges, Chambolle-Musigny and Vosne-Romanée Les Hautes Maizières.

Of course, many lots are also put up for auction at lower prices, with some boasting a starting price of just one euro – take note if you’re after a good deal!

The best of mature Bordeaux

The selection of lots from Bordeaux includes a crate of Duclot wines from the 2016 vintage, but also all the best wines classified as fine vintages and mature vintages. This is of course the case for those classified as Premier Crus, such as the Château Lafite-Rothschild 1982, Château Latour 2000 or the Haut-Brion 1999. The finest Pomerols are also available, starting with a number of Petrus, available in several vintages, as well as delicious wines from Château Le Pin.

It is also worth noting that around twenty lots of Château Le Puy are included in this auction, in vintages ranging from 1975 to 2006. A fantastic opportunity for fans of this great natural wine.

If you have any special occasions on the horizon, do not miss out on the S champagnes from Salon, or the Dom Pérignon 3eme Plénitude. The finest Châteauneuf-du-Papes are included in this auction, too: those from Château Rayas, in multiple vintages.
