The online wine auction closing on Wednesday 25th October is an irresistible fine wine journey: each appellation will allow you to gather rare bottles and organize a very complete tasting of its best representatives.
Choosing from such a vast selection of Burgundy grands crus will be a challenge, especially with the rare Chambertin (Rousseau, Trapet, Pierre Damoy) and Meursault (Coche-Dury, Lafon, Roulot). And from Bordeaux, you can imagine organising vertical tastings, from Léoville Barton, Las Cases or Poyferré, Montrose and Phélan Ségur in the Médoc, Figeac and La Conseillante on the right bank, Yquem, Rieussec in Sauternes. From the Northern Rhône, the LA-LA-LA range from Guigal in Côte-Rôtie is truly breathtaking, while from the Southern Rhône, the most famous representatives from Châteauneuf-du-Pape are waiting for you (Rayas and its satellites, Henri Bonneau, Marcoux, Beaucastel, Vieux Donjon).
The other French regions also offer many treasures. From the Loire, it is impossible to ignore the splendid cuvées from Clos Rougeard or Dagueneau; from Jura, hundreds of lots from Arbois; from Champagne, the wide range of cuvées, including the Champagne Boerl and Kroff in magnum and iconic names like Egly-Ouriet, Krug, Dom Pérignon, Ruinart, Jacquesson. Without forgetting the splendid cuvées from Alsace (Zind-Humbrecht, Deiss) or Languedoc (Mas Jullien, Grange des Pères, Barral).
There are also white and red Burgundies with (very) affordable starting bids, like Corton Grand Cru in mature vintages , Beaune, Pommard, Volnay and even a few Chablis Grand Cru from prestigious domains (Dauvissat, Drouhin).
From the Rhône, discover classics from renowned domains, like Guigal, Jaboulet, Alain Voge, in flagship appellations: Côte-Rôtie, Saint-Joseph, Cornas, Croze-Hermitage and in very well rated vintages like 2005. From Champagne, two cuvées stand out, the 2009 Blanc de Blanc from Deutz and the 2009 Brut Monopole Gold Top by Heidsieck & Co. La Grande Sendrée Drappier is also a great success, much appreciated by our team. From the Jura, two domains arise: Ganevat from Côtes-du-Jura Cuvée Florine 2008 and Domaine Jean Macle with its unbeatable Côtes-du-Jura 2012. We will also take a look at the treasures from Château-Chalon (Macle, Tissot, Perron).
Concerning non-French wines, nearly 200 lots from all over the world are available: a nice journey!
Go ahead and bid! You have until 25th October…
