Special fixed price Burgundy sale: 300 top whites
A superb fixed price sale is underway, featuring 300 white Burgundy wines. Whether you’re looking for something to lie down or enjoy now, this magnificent selection has something for everyone. Here at iDealwine, we are more than a little excited about the arrival of some of the new 2015 and 2016 vintages from the most sought after producers! With the hype surrounding the 2015 and 2016 vintages it can be easy to forget about other years but be sure to take a look at some of the fantastic wines on offer in other vintages too.
If you don’t feel like messing around why not let yourself be tempted by la crème de la crème. With wines available from some of the most legendary domains and the most beautiful terroirs, you could be the proud owner of a Chassagne-Montrachet from La Maison Leroy or a Corton-Charlemagne Grand Cru from Domaine Louis Latour. Perhaps even a Saint-Romain from Domaine Méo-Camuzet.
Amongst the hidden gems that have just arrived we have some great wines from Domaine A & P de Villaine. As you know, the co-manager from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti now calls this part of the Côte Chalonnaise home. We opened the Bouzeron Aligoté at our last iDealwine masterclass and it went down a treat! There are also delights to be discovered from the Mâconnais. The iconic Dominique Lafon produced from his Domaine des Héritiers du Comte Lafon in Milly-Lamartine are superb.
Why not stay off the beaten track and discover some of the rising stars of Burgundy: Frantz Chagnoleau, Nicolas Maillet and the Bret Brothers. Prices here are still relatively good but that will change soon…don’t say we didn’t warn you!
A great producer that joins our list of partner domains for the first time is Domaine Pinson, welcome! These mouth-watering premier and grand crus will be available to buy from Monday.
Amongst the classics that any self-respecting iDealwiner has in their cellar (but probably not yet in these new vintages!) are the Corton-Charlemagne from Domaine des Croix, a domain that also produces fantastic reds from Côte de Beaune. Other iDealwine favourites are the Chablis of Louis Michel and Gilbert Picq, the Marsannay from Bruno Clair and the Mercurey from Château de Chamirey. To finish in style, take a look at some of the offerings from Puligny and Etienne Sauzet terroirs, not to mention Chassagne…
The early birds are sure to catch the worm so don’t delay, happy shopping!
