A staggering sale! Northern Rhone produces wines that are becoming more and more popular and consequently more difficult to source. In this sale, you’ll find a great diversity of styles and vintages from 2006 to 2015: from Côte-Rôtie, Cornas and Hermitage to more approachable Crozes or Saint Joseph as well as luscious whites from Condrieu.
This sale is a journey into the hilly vineyard of Northern Rhône with a special focus on Côte-Rôtie. You’ll find the powerful 2009 and 2010 vintages, the classic 2012 and a great selection of the dense 2013. You’ll be able to discover the different styles of producers, from the most delicate (Clusel-Roch, Othéguy, Duclaux, Stephan, Levet, Rostaing) to the boldest ones (Guigal, Bonserine, Gérin, Bonnefond…). You will also enjoy the most sought-after cuvées (La Landonne, La Mouline, La Turque….), the Côte-Rôtie from domaine Vernay, their Condrieu and the ones from domaines Delas, Rostaing, Chapoutier or Othéguy – one of our crush. If you are looking for wines to drink now, look out for Crozes-Hermitage (Combier, Delas) or Saint-Joseph (Coursodon, domaine du Tunnel, Gonon, Graillot…). Last but not least, don’t miss the great Cornas (Voge, Tunnel, Courbis, Verset) and Hermitage (Chave, Jaboulet, Delas…). You’ll be able to access various vintages from 2006 to 2015 (previous vintages will be featured in the fixed-price mature sale starting on 16th March). The majority of the wines are direct from the domaines… rather staggering!
