NEW ADDITIONS | Mature vintages of Burgundy and superlative Champagnes

This line-up of mature vintages will have you weak at the knees! This month, Burgundy and Champagne are in the spotlight, with exceptional lots sourced directly from Krug and Dom Pérignon.

Getting your hands on the best of Burgundian wines is one thing, but finding them in mature vintages is even better, right? For an unforgettable experience, taste a bottle of La Tâche 1986 or 2001 from DRC, a Vosne-Romanée Premier Cru Cros Parantoux from Emmanuel Rouget, or how about a 1999 Romanée from Comte Liger-Belair. Georges Mugneret, Leflaive, Bonneau du Martray, Faiveley… You’ll find several top signatures in ready-to-drink vintages.

In Bordeaux, the line-up boasts Premier Grands Crus in great vintages: Château Lafite-Rothschild 1986, Château Margaux and Château Latour 1996, Château Angélus 2000, Château Pavie 1990, Château d’Yquem 2005… Other in-demand names are available, including Château Léoville-Las-Cases 1996 and 2009, or Château Pichon Longueveille Comtesse de Lalande 1990.

In the Rhône, taste the mythic Château Rayas 2009 or, for Emmanuel Reynaud’s work at a more affordable price, a Château Fonsalette 2007. Several Côte-Rôtie, for instance Guigal’s LA-LA wines, and the best Châteauneuf du Pape in ready-to-drink vintages are also available.

Our selection of mature vintage Champagnes marks a turning point for our fixed-price offerings: we are mightily proud to welcome Krug and Dom Pérignon to our network of partner domains: enjoy the mythic Clos de Mesnil 2004 from Krug, or their Krug Collection 1981, Coffret Vintage 1995 or Krug Vintage 2002, 2003 and 2004. As for Dom Pérignon, try the cuvée Dom Pérignon Deuxième Plénitude (P2) 1996, aged for 15 years. For lovers of slightly younger Champagne, look to the great years: Dom Pérignon 2000, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2008 or 2009. All of these old vintages of Krug and Dom Pérignon are sourced directly from the houses’ cellars. Other vintage Champagnes are also available, including Selosse, Roederer, and Taittinger (Comtes de Champagne 1988).

Beware: these highly coveted, ready-to-drink vintages are only available in limited quantities and the sale is strictly first come, first served!
