Our specialists’ team has carefully authenticated and inspected these bottles when collecting them to make sure they were kept in a good environment.
Fine wines in their golden age
From Bordeaux, the most renowned signatures are in this selection in great vintages. Starting with the icon of Bordeaux, the herald of the Right Bank, Petrus, available in the 1980 and 1976 vintages. The other bottle that should also be very successful is Cheval Blanc 2001. With Calon-Ségur 2000 you will be able to spoil your friends. In the Rothschild series, the wines from Lafite and Mouton closely follow each other with the 1982 and 1983 vintages. And the cherry on the top, a few bottles sublimated by the botrytis will decorate your Christmas table: succumb for a sublime Château d’Yquem 1988 and 1989, a vintage rated 19/20 for Bordeaux sweet wines.
At Christmas, you will be able to share Burgundy bottles thanks to this sublime selection of mature wines ready-to-taste. You will have the choice between several Gevrey-Chambertin from Armand Rousseau, wines from Bonneau du Martray, and Comtes Lafon. The greatest wines of the vineyard are waiting for you: Clos de la Roche, Musigny, Charmes-Chambertin. The Grands Crus surrounding the Montrachet appellation are not left out: the Leflaive house from Chevalier-Montrachet, the delicious Puligny-Montrachet 1er cru Les Pucelles or even Bâtard-Montrachet Grand Cru from Etienne Sauzet. In Chablis, you can get your hands on a nice 1er Cru from Raveneau, Montée de Tonnerre.
From the Rhône, the catalogue is equally attractive. Rare bottles such as the Hermitage wines from Jean-Louis Chave or the Ermitage from Chapoutier are all part of our dream wine list, as well as an absolutely sublime selection from Guigal. The LA-LA-LA trio from Côte-Rôtie in the 1987 vintage as well as two much-appreciated plots Château d’Ampuis and Côte Brune and Blonde. Towards the Northern Rhône, two emblematic domains from Châteauneuf-du-Pape are at the forefront: Château de Beaucastel and Domaine de Marcoux. As for the wines of the South, Domaine de Trévallon and Domaine Peyre Rose are likely to trigger desires.
Finally, in the selection of non-French wines, let’s start with a stop to Oakville in the Napa Valley with Cabernet Sauvignon from Mondavi Winery and the Constellation cuvée from the Opus One estate. A nice series of Portos and Chianti is also waiting for you. It’s never too late to get caught by the magic of VT wines (late-harvested grapes). Your senses will prove it to you, with this Riesling Auslese Badstube (Dr. H.Thanisch Bernkasteler).
