iDealwine’s La Cave | New treasures

We are proud to present this cellar rich in wines that perfectly encapsulate the DNA of iDealwine. Here you will find the crème de la crème of French wines, without forgetting the beautiful domains of further-flung lands.

Over the years, iDealwine has built up a network of over 500 partner domains, winemakers with whom we work in order to offer you the treasures they produce. Most of these are French domains, though we are increasingly opening our horizons to welcome producers from abroad. iDealwine’s La Cave was created in order to build an online cellar that brings all of these delicious wines together in one place, in a way that is accessible for you. Since these must-have domains are often victims of their own success, this online cellar is often restocked with new vintages, cuvées and domains.

The month of February is no exception, and the selection we’ve put together for you perfectly encapsulates the DNA of iDealwine: unmissable classics, rising stars, and the wine makers that represent the best of what French viticulture has to offer!

Let’s take a look at the new additions, starting with Champagne, the ultimate festive region. Here, incredible maisons like Philipponnat are cheek to cheek with grower producers like Laherte, Agrapart, and Oliver Horiot, whose Rosé des Riceys cuvée is not to be missed.

Château Haut-Marbuzet is flying the flag for Bordeaux among the new additions, available in its 2014 vintage. Labelled ‘Bordeaux’s most sensual wine’ by Robert Parker, and unanimously commended by critics (and by the iDealwine team!), we can’t recommend it highly enough. From Burgundy, you’re bound to fall for Domaine Joblot’s Givry, the appellation’s star property, whose wines are a model of pure fruit and round character.

From the Rhône Valley, the selection on offer is as excellent as it is varied: La Turque and La Landonne from Guigal, Château des Tours, and Gramenon, as well as wines by Yves Cuilleron and Michel and Stéphane Ogier. If you’re seeking the freshness of the Loire, you won’t be disappointed! Whether it’s the structured Muscadets of Jo Landron, the unmatched Montlouis by Jacky Blot, or Michel Redde & Fils’ pure and mineral Pouilly-Fumé, there is something for all tastes.

And that’s not all: brilliant domains like Grange des Pères, Camin Larredya, Marcel Deiss, Jean Foillard, Mee Godard, Abbatucci and Domaine des Ardoisières are present and waiting to be enjoyed. This being just a glimpse of what’s available in La Cave, take the time to discover all that’s on offer for yourself. As always, the quantities are limited, especially for landmark vintages, so there’s not a moment to lose!
