iDealwine’s La Cave | Myriad new additions

You will have no doubt noticed that iDealwine’s La Cave is a true gold mine. Well, we have good news for you: we’ve replenished our cellar with new vintages, domains and bottles…just for you! Here’s a short overview of some of these must-try wines.

We’ve added many new classics from Bordeaux, to be left in your cellar for a few years: Yquem 2014, Château Gruaud Larose 2012, Cos d’Estournel 2011, Château Rauzan Ségla 2012, Château Belle-Vue 2015. Lovers of Burgundy, take a stroll around the Côte de Beaune, where you’ll be pleased to see the refined, delicate Premiers Crus from Domaine de Montille in Volnay. You’ll also find Saint-Romain wines from domain Alain Gras and David Moret’s Meursaults. In the Côte de Nuits, try the powerful Gevrey-Chambertins, with their animal, cooked bouquet, from domain Harmand-Geoffroy, as well as several new vintages form domain Mongeard Mugneret in Vosne-Romanée. Somewhat more affordable, we’ve also topped up our cellar with Sylvain Pataille’s Marsannays, much-coveted by our team.

In the Rhone valley, we’ve also added the latest vintages (2016 and 2017) from domain Alain Voge and Stéphane Othéguy’s Saint-Josephs. As regards our selection from the Loire, the watchwords are precision and purity; you will thus find Domaine de la Taille aux Loup’s 2017 Montlouis and Vouvray, as well as a variety of cuvées from the talented duo Jean-Baptiste Bonnigal and Stéphane Bodet from domain Bonnigal-Bodet in the Touraine.

We’re also thinking about those for whom Spring can’t come soon enough. Head down to the south-west and get your hands on new vintages from some of our favourite domains, such as Domaine Arretxea. Don’t miss out on their wonderful Irouléguys. Next, head down to the Languedoc, more specifically to Domaine des Vignes Oubliées, where Grenache, Syrah and Carignan perfectly express the terroir of the Larzac foothills. In the Roussillon, we’ve added several cuvées from domain Clos des Fées, which stunned us with their silky, fruity palate, and which are regularly a victim of their own success!

As you can see, we’ve topped up our cellar with some of our absolute favourites… Will you do the same? Happy shopping!
