In Bordeaux, in among the fine bottles of Château Guiraud 2018, Château Pontet-Canet 2016 and the 2017 vintage from Domaine de Chevalier, you’ll also find some fabulous large formats, for instance, magnums of Château Tour Caussan 2017 and Château Batailley 2015.
In the Loire valley, we’ve welcomed a new domain into our network: la Paonnerie, crafters of biodynamic and natural wines. Several of their cuvées are available.
In the Rhône, get your hands on the 2017 Côte-Rôtie offerings from Domaine Bonnefond and Levet vineyards. 2016 and 2017 releases from Domaine Graillot, Michel et Stéphane Ogier and Paul Coulon et Fils have also been added to the selection.
Our champagnes have been replenished, with the outstanding 742 cuvée from Jacquesson, cuvées such as Charles de Gaulle and Drappier’s Carte d’Or. Lesser known but by no means less deserving names such as Xavier Leconte and Fleury are well worth trying.
Heading to the Languedoc, our picks include Joël Laval’s Terrasses du Larzac and the 2017 vintage from Domaine de Magellan; in the Beaujolais, domains Marcel Lapierre and Louis-Claude Desvignes. For those working over the month of August, transport yourself to sun-soaked and lavender-scented Provence with Domaine Les Bastides and Château de Roquefort (white, red or rosé: take your pick).
Outside of France, enjoy sublime Spanish wines from Vega Sicilia, and the 2014 and 2015 vintages from Domaine Drouhin in Oregon.
As you can see, we’ve topped up our cellar for the summer, now it’s your turn 😉… See La Cave
