Fixed-price sale: Champagne and French sparkling wine from, €10

VAD FIZZSpring has sprung and that’s cause enough to celebrate. Bring on the longer days, warmer weather and aperitifs in the garden. This fixed-price sale is a celebration of all things fizz, from Champagne to French sparkling wine.

You’ll find a fine selection from all the most illustrious Champagne houses in this fixed-price sale: Jacquesson’s  Dégorgement Tardif 1997, Agrapart & Fils’ Expérience Brut Nature Blanc de Blancs 2012 and Minéral Extra Brut Blanc de Blancs 2005, Bollinger’s R.D 2002, Pol Roger’s Cuvée Winston Churchill 2009, Roederer’s Cristal 2009 and much more.

There are some excellent examples from firm iDealwine favourites such as Marguet, Suenen, Bérêche et Fils, Chartogne-Taillet, Savart, Laherte Frères, Bedel, Bourgeois-Diaz, De Sousa and Olivier Horiot. All the biggest names are also here for those extra special occasions: Deutz, Bollinger, Louis Roederer, Ruinart and Taittinger.

Amongst the new arrivals, we bring you for the first time the Bollinger R.D 2004 that confers all the freshness of a recently disgorged wine. We are also delighted to present a new domain to the iDealwine network: Pierre Peters, one of the finest signatures from Mesnil sur Ogier whose Blanc de Blanc is one of the best in all of Champagne!

For those seeking large format bottles, a jeroboam of the sumptuous Longitude Blanc de Blancs Premier Cru Extra Brut from Larmandier-Bernier awaits you, not to mention a vast array of magnums such as the Cuvée 736 DT and 741 from Jacquesson, L’âme de la Terre from Françoise Bedel et Fils (2010), the Special Cuvée from Bollinger, Les Murgiers Extra Brut Blanc de Noirs from Francis Boulard, the Brut Classic from Deutz, the Cuvée 3C de Bourgeos-Diaz and even the Royale Réserve from Philipponnat.

Don’t forget to peruse the selection of sparkling wine from other French regions. Here you will unearth some delicious finds at fantastic prices: Eric Bordelet’s cider and perry, La Taille aux Loups’s Montlouis Brut Tradition and Clos Naudin’s Vouvray all come in at less than €15. We strongly recommend trying some of the sparkling wines from the Jura and Savoie too (Tissot, Belluard, Giachino, Ganevat), you’ll be pleasantly surprised!

Happy shopping.
