Auctions | More than 10,000 bottles: the finest from each region

Figeac

With incredible vintages and rare gems, from France and further afield, discover the best of every region.

Our team of passionate wine lovers has unearthed the finest of mature, head-turning Bordeaux. Old Bordeaux enthusiasts will no doubt be aware that 1989/1990 is a winning duo, which is why we’ve gathered together rare bottles of Château Latour 1989, Haut-Brion 1989, Lafite-Rothschild 1989 and Léovilles Las Cases 1989. In the 1990 vintage, you’ll find unmissable wines from the Right Bank: Château Cheval Blanc and Château Figeac. Lovers of large formats, have you pinpointed our magnums of Château Palmer 1990 or Haut-Marbuzet 1990?

Burgundy devotees will have spotted collectable bottles from Henri Jayer and the Chambertin Grand Cru and Chambertin Clos de Bèze from Armand Rousseau. DRC aficionados will be fighting over a gem of a Romanée-Conti 1985. Amateurs of Chardonnay should treat themselves to Arnaud Ente’s Meursault and Puligny-Montrachet or Leroy’s Corton-Charlemagne. In the Rhône, you’ll the find the cream of the crop: Côte-Rôtie from Domaine Dervieux-Thaize or Guigal, with his famed LaLas (La Turque, La Mouline, La Landonne). Still in the northern Rhône, Thierry Allemand’s Cornas and Jean-Louis Chave’s white Hermitage represent everything that Rhône lovers could wish for. And don’t forget the solar Châteauneuf-du-Pape from Rayas, Domaine de La Mordorée or Clos Saint-Jean.

In Alsace, we’re celebrating Trimbach’s legendary Clos Sainte Hune, with a selection of old vintages (1995, 1996, 1998, 2000). From unbeatable Riesling to incomparable blends of traditional Alsatian grapes, why not get your hands on Marcel Deiss’ Schoenenbourg Grand Cru?

In the Jura, mature vintages of Overnoy’s vin jaunes await your bids, as well as the magnificent cuvée Les Vignes de Mon Père from Ganevat.

Last but not least, our selection of non-French wines will have you scrambling to expand your vinous horizons. Screaming Eagle, with its stratospheric scores from the eminent Robert Parker, is available in the 2016 vintage (a 100-point vintage, no less), whereas old world winners such as Vega Sicilia Unico or Sassicaia 2015 are equally desirable. There’s nothing left for you to do but bid for the wines of your dreams: may the best bidder win!
