iDealwine auctions are, now more than ever, the perfect place to get your hands on the rarest, most prestigious or most specialist wines, in the finest vintages of the 20th and 21st centuries. In fact, 1989, 1990, 2000, 2005, 2009, 2010 and 2015 feature in abundance in this auction.
You’ll find some of the most famous wines from Burgundy, especially mature Grands Crus from Domaine de la Romanée-Conti, for instance Grands-Echézeaux (2014, 2013) or l’Echézeaux (2000, 1989). Unless you’d prefer the Marc de Bourgogne (1995) produced by this prestigious domain? You will also find the Clos de la Roche from Domaine Ponsot, the Richebourg from Domaine Méo-Camuzet, the Musigny from Jacques-Frédéric Mugnier and many more. This sale also contains excellent white wines: Chevalier-Montrachet 2009 from Domaine d’Auvenay, Meursault La Sève du Clos 2009 from Arnaud Ente or Bâtard-Montrachet from Ramonet and various ready-to-drink Meursaults from Coche-Dury. However, these auctions are not limited to the most prestigious Grands Crus of the region, but rather offer the chance to taste very affordably-priced Burgundian wines, with many starting prices at €1.
In Bordeaux, the finest, old vintages have pride of place in these auctions: Mouton-Rothschild 2000 and 1986, Petrus 1993, Margaux 2015 or 2010, Yquem 1967, 2009 and 2010, Cheval Blanc 1990 and 1980, Haut-Brion 2010, Latour 2005 and 1996, Angélus 2000, Léoville Las Cases 1990… Wines at somewhat more affordable prices are also available in great, ready-to-drink vintages, for instance Château d’Aiguilhe, Fourcas Hosten, Lafaurie Peyraguey, Cantemerle or Siran… It is also worth mentioning the 70-year-old dessert wine: Château Rabaud Promis 1947.
In the Rhone valley, there is also a profusion of great vintages in this sale, which are often at perfect maturity. How could you possibly resist a Château Rayas 2000, or a 1990 white from the same domain? The same goes for the Hermitage 2000 from Jean-Louis Chave. We wouldn’t say no to a Châteauneuf du Pape 2005 from Clos des Papes either, or the Côte Rôtie 2000 from Jamet, or even the Saint Joseph 2000 from Gonon. You will also find more affordable wines from domains l’Oratoire Saint-Martin (Cairanne), Alain Voge (Saint-Péray) and Charvin (Châteauneuf-du-Pape).
In the Loire valley, we don’t doubt that the wines from Clos Rougeard – in the 2005 vintage – will be hotly sought after, as well as Les Nourrissons 2009 and 2016 from Stéphane Bernaudeau, or the cuvée Silex (2000) from Dagueneau in Pouilly-Fumé.
In this sale, we are also offering champagnes in exceptional vintages, such as the cuvée Cristal 2009 from Roederer, Millésime Brut Blanc de blancs 1996 from Jacques Selosse or Dom Pérignon P2 2000. The stars from other regions include: Les Vignes de mon Père 2005 from Jean-François Ganevat, the Grange des Pères 2005 or 2000, Trévallon 2000, Mas Daumas Gassac 2000 or in Bandol, the cuvée La Migoua 2005 from domain Tempier.
