The current auction is one of the largest of the year and includes very rare bottles as Gaudichots 1926 from Domaine de la Romanée Conti, a Beychevelle from the 19th century and many other surprises. Immerse yourself in the diversity of its catalogues!
Romanée Conti, a name that resonates in the ear of any wine connoisseur especially who have been lucky enough to taste it. The auction, which closes on 25th November many worthy vintages this cult domaine: Romanée-Conti, Richebourg, Grand-Echézeaux, Échézeaux… and two bottles of Gaudichots 1926, the plot that is now called La Tâche… Equally sought in white, don’t miss the mythical Coche-Dury with a Corton-Charlemagne 1995 or a Meursault-Perrières 1996. In total from Burgundy you can chose from over 1,000 bottles and not always at sky-high prices. For less than €50, you’ll be able to bid on a Fixin 1er Cru Clos du Chapitre 2005 (Méo-Camuzet), a Gevrey Chambertin 1er Cru Lavaud St Jacques 2011 (Drouhin-Larose), or a Clos Vougeot 2000 from domaine Jacques Prieur.
This sale is clearly highlighting Burgundy… yet Bordeaux has not been left behind either. You can enjoy a Beychevelle 1896 but if you prefer them younger, opt for: Pichon-Longueville 1928, Haut-Brion 1931 or Mission-Haut-Brion, 1943, 1949, Carbonnieux 1933, Lafite 1952. If none of that works you can always organize dinner in the theme of the end of the war? With a 1945 Beychevelle, Pape Clement, Trotanoy and for the desert Chateau Roumieu. Attention having an exceptional doesn’t mean we forget about our classics! You can get bottles of Petrus 1998 and 2012, all Bordeaux 1st growths in recent and less recent vintages. Again, you can find wines for all budgets and 400 are set to price under €30!
